It is a delight to be the class teacher of Year 3 again this year and to have a new set of children to inspire. My name is Miss Major and I am the Year 3 teacher. In the classwork the children and I are supported by Mrs Turner and Miss Pritchard.
As the three adults in Year 3, we all firmly believe that if children are going to achieve their potential we need to work in a close partnership with parents. So as the school year unfolds may often talk to you about how we can both help your child’s learning move forward.
Each week the children have to read every night and they have spellings to learn. The spelling test is always on a Friday morning and will be tested out of order.
Please feel free to share any concerns or queries with any of us. The end of the day is the preferred time, or email admin@our-ladys.hereford.sch.uk and mark this for my attention. We are very much looking forward to working with you and to teaching your child.
