My name is Mrs Griffiths and I wish you a very warm welcome to Year 1. We are looking forward to lots of exciting learning over the year that will build upon your child's wonderful experiences and achievements in the Early Years.
Each term you will receive a Year One newsletter which will provide you with details of the curriculum and key dates. Please put all dates in your diary as we move throughout the year.
We believe that if children are going to achieve their potential, we need to work in a close partnership with parents. So, as the school year unfolds I may talk to you about how we can both help your child’s learning move forward.
We are fortunate to have Mrs Harris and Mrs Gainey supporting the children's learning in class this year, they are both very experienced Teaching Assistants. We are all here to support your child to be happy and confident learners. We would welcome you to share any questions or concerns you may have with us.
