Science Week in Y3

We have been looking at Health Eating. We planned our sandwiches, drew diagrams and made a list of ingredients. We then made our sandwiches. They were delicious. Please view our photos. We also investigated some drinks and the amount of sugar inside them. We were quite surprised by the results. Please ask your child for the details.

Bread Tasting – we tasted 10 different types of bread; we will be making some sandwiches soon…

Primary Colours – we drew with primary colours and then used those to make secondary colours

Pedestrian Training – only a couple of photos from our road safety training

We are doing art in the style of French artist, Henri Matisse. Each art piece was wonderful and so individual. Well done to all the artists in Year 3.

Y3 PE Throwing and jumping. We are practicing different throws and jumps on our school field.

We now have the results of our science investigation. Our Conclusions: Energy drinks are the worst drink for our teeth; - they rot them. Coca-cola makes our teeth brown and vinegar eats the enamel. The best drink for our teeth is water.

Science investigation - which drinks are the worst for our teeth? Tune in next week for the results.......
