PTFA - Friends of the School

Our PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) plays a vital role in the life of Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School. They are at the heart of our school community, bringing families, staff and friends together to support our children and enrich school life.

Through their dedication and generosity, the PTFA helps to provide opportunities and experiences that go beyond the classroom. Their fundraising efforts contribute towards:

  • supporting school trips and visits

  • providing theatre and cultural experiences

  • enhancing learning resources and environments

  • recently helping to fund our sensory room, which supports the wellbeing of our pupils

The PTFA organises a wide range of events throughout the year, which are enjoyed by children and families alike. These include:

  • disco nights

  • bingo evenings

  • Christmas hampers and celebrations

  • Easter raffles

  • cake sales

  • and many more community events

In addition, the PTFA often brings together working parties to support specific projects within the school, strengthening our shared commitment to providing the very best for our children.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy and enthusiasm of everyone involved. The PTFA is a wonderful example of our school community in action — welcoming, supportive and full of generosity.

Everyone is welcome to get involved. Whether you can offer time, ideas, skills or support at events, there is a place for everyone, and every contribution makes a difference.

Together, we continue to build a strong, caring community where our children can truly thrive.
