Vision & Mission

OUR VISION

We aspire that through the love of Jesus everyone should "have life and have it to the full.”  (John 10:10)

Our vision is at the heart of everything we do. It reminds us that every child is a unique gift from God, with their own talents, strengths, and potential. Through the love of Jesus, we aim to nurture children not only academically, but also spiritually, socially, and emotionally — helping them grow in confidence, joy, and purpose.

Jesus wants you to be happy, to use your gifts, and to help others. At our school, we help you do all of this every day.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to bring our vision to life:

  • We provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment, where every child feels known and valued.

  • We support each child to be the best they can be, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and resilience alongside strong academic achievement.

  • We work closely with families, the parish, and our wider community, building strong partnerships so that every child experiences love, care, and guidance.

  • We encourage children to grow in faith, kindness, responsibility, and hope, helping them make positive choices and contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

At Our Lady’s, we help you grow, learn, and be happy, guided by Jesus’ example every day.

OUR ETHOS

The ethos of Our Lady’s describes what it feels like to be part of our school. It is reflected in the warmth of our welcome, the kindness in our corridors, and the care in every classroom:

  • Every child feels safe, loved, and celebrated for who they are.

  • Relationships are built on kindness, respect, forgiveness, and trust, helping children learn how to live well with others.

  • Faith is lived daily through prayer, worship, reflection, and acts of service, showing the love of Jesus in action.

  • Children are encouraged to develop confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning, supported by staff who know them as individuals and care deeply for their well-being.

At our school, we care for one another, forgive mistakes, help each other, and try to live like Jesus every day.
