It is a genuine pleasure to welcome you to Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery. I am incredibly proud of our school and the strong sense of care, faith, and community that makes it such a special place for children and families.

Situated on the southern side of the city, Our Lady’s is a Catholic school where faith, learning, and care sit at the heart of everything we do. We welcome families who share our Catholic faith as well as those who value an education rooted in Christian values. Since opening our Nursery in January 2022, we have been able to nurture children from their earliest years, providing a strong, loving foundation for each child’s learning journey.

What truly makes Our Lady’s special is our strong sense of family. With just around two hundred pupils and a small, nurturing nursery, every child is known personally, valued deeply, and cherished as a unique gift from God. Our dedicated staff are committed not only to high standards of learning, but to the happiness, wellbeing, and confidence of every child in their care.

We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and inspired. We strive for high achievement across all areas of school life, alongside a broad and engaging curriculum. By recognising and nurturing individual strengths, we aim to help every child grow in confidence, develop a love of learning, and be well-prepared for the next stage of their education.
